Building Enclosures

Overview

The Plugin Optics line of Universal Building Enclosures are available in a single compartment configuration, for use with connectorized common or feeder cables, and a dual compartment configuration for splice in applications and where slack storage is desired. The front compartment is used to house CWDM or DWDM LGX modules, 12 and 24-fiber bulkhead connectors, and PLC Splitters. The rear compartment adds management for up to 15 meters of fiber slack and a 24-fiber splice tray for mass or single fiber splicing.

Overview

Wall or Pole Mount Building Enclosures are heavy-duty polycarbonate enclosures with a NEMA 4X and IP66 protection rating built for telecom and fiber network applications. The opaque cover is equipped with a continuous piano hinge, pad lockable hasp, two slotted telecom quarter-turn latches, and a telecom approved fire rated wood back panel. These enclosures also come with a 6-slot LGX based mounting insert used to house CWDM and DWDM Modules, LGX PLC Splitters, LGX Splice Modules, LGX Pigtail Modules or Bulkhead Modules.

With its heavy-duty polycarbonate frame and fire-rated backboard these enclosures are easily field modifiable to add cable grommets, earthing posts and cable management to meet your needs. The LGX compatible insert, with 6 LGX slots, allows for up to 72-Fiber SC ports or up to 144-Fiber LC ports with plenty of room for cable management and splicing.
